The Embrace — bronze sculpture

Two figures merge into a single slender vertical form — one leans its head towards the other, arms wrap around, and the silhouettes flow together down to a shared base. The sculpture is stripped to its essentials: with no facial features and no detail, all that remains is the gesture of closeness, legible without a word. The piece is handmade: cast in bronze, then hand-worked and patinated to a matt graphite black, with lighter golden lines running along the edges and folds.

This is handcrafted work in which the finishing carries the most weight — the golden accents are created by rubbing back the patina by hand, so their path and intensity differ slightly on every casting.
